Submissions are short films (less than 20 minutes) of any genre, which tell engaging and inspiring stories of people in communities around the world impacted by and taking action to address the environmental challenges facing the Earth today.
The 2024 Earth Port Film Festival, now in its 10th year, will be held on Sunday, April 21 at the Firehouse Center for the Arts in Newburyport, MA. Newburyport is a vibrant, thriving, historic New England seaport located on the North Shore of Massachusetts
The Earth Port Film Festival is produced by Greater Newburyport Community Media Hub (NCMHub) and Transition Newburyport. It was founded to highlight and raise awareness of both pressing environmental issues and the important role of community media. The intent of the film festival is to demonstrate the power of film in communicating important issues.

Proceeds from the Earth Port Film Festival are used to support the training and development of Newburyport youth and adults in the art of communicating via film and video at PortMedia.
